From the Philippines to your kitchen
It all started with a journey that would change our lives. We are Charlotte and Jules , two food and adventure enthusiasts, who set off for six months to discover the flavors of Asia .
It was during our month-long visit to the Philippines that the magic happened. At a small local market in Coron, and later at roadside stalls in Port Barton and Siquijor, we discovered an ingredient we had never heard of before: Ube .

The Purple Revelation
This type of purple yam was everywhere transformed into creamy desserts, refreshing ice creams, and comforting drinks. Every day, we explored a new way to enjoy ube , fascinated as much by its naturally vibrant purple color as by its subtly sweet, vanilla, and nutty flavor.
The more we discovered, the more our passion grew . It wasn't just a food, it was a complete experience that spoke to all our senses .

From discovery to mission
The idea didn't wait for our return to France to germinate. From our first tastings, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary that deserved to be shared. It was in our rooms at local people's homes , between two explorations, that our project took shape . Each evening, equipped with our notebooks and laptops, we sketched the outlines of what would become our business. We met local vendors , learned the traditional preparation secrets and already experimented with our first recipes.
From idea to realization
Thus was born our mission: to share this discovery with you . We worked for months to select the best sources of ube, perfect our recipes and create products that faithfully capture the essence of our Filipino favorite .
