Pourquoi y a-t-il un dépôt au fond du verre quand on prépare un Ube Latte ? - MyUbe

Why is there a deposit at the bottom of the glass when preparing an Ube Latte?

You've prepared your Ube Latte MyUbe , everything is perfect… until you notice a small purple deposit at the bottom of the glass.
Rest assured: this isn't a poorly mixed residue or a product defect — on the contrary, it's a sign of a 100% natural, raw, and fiber-rich product.

In this article, we explain why this deposit is normal (and even beneficial!) — and how to take advantage of it to the last drop.

A deposit… a sign of pure and raw ube

When Ube MyUbe powder is steeped in a glass of hot water and then this mixture is poured into a cup of milk, a slight purple deposit may form at the bottom of the first glass.
This deposit is none other than the natural fibers of the ube, the same ones that give it its texture, its intense color and its nutritional benefits.

Unlike overly refined powders, MyUbe preserves all the valuable parts of the tuber :

  • Fiber , which aids digestion
  • Antioxidants , which protect cells
  • Natural nutrients , a source of gentle and stable energy

This small deposit is therefore proof that your ube is raw, pure and unprocessed — exactly as in the Philippine tradition.

Why do some powders not leave a deposit?

During our tests prior to the launch of MyUbe, we compared many ube powders available on the market.
Result: those that left no residue were often:

  • too refined ,
  • mixed with additives (sugar, colorings…)
  • filtered to remove fibers.

The problem is that by removing the fibers, you also remove the very essence of ube : its benefits, its texture and its nutritional richness.

At MyUbe , we made the opposite choice: to preserve the raw material , without addition, without artifice.
This is what makes our ube powder so pure, natural… and effective.

The right thing to do: reuse the deposit

The best part of all this? This purple deposit is n't something to throw away !
It is reusable and can be used to prepare a new drink :

  1. Simply add some hot water to your glass.
  2. Mix again
  3. Let it steep for a few seconds.

And there you have it: your starter is re-infusing like tea. You can pour your new mixture into a cup of milk and enjoy a second Ube Latte!
This allows you to prepare 2 to 3 drinks with the same dose of ube, without wasting anything — a natural and responsible approach, in the spirit of MyUbe.

In summary

No, your Ube Latte isn't mixed badly .
That purple deposit at the bottom of the glass is:

  • the sign of a raw and unrefined product
  • evidence of the presence of natural fibers
  • the guarantee of an authentic U-be experience rich in benefits .

So yes, at MyUbe , we prefer a little sediment at the bottom of the glass…
rather than a soulless powder with no nutritional value!
